Linear phthalates

Linear phthalates

These Phthalates are obtained by reacting Phthalic Anhydride with predominantly linear aliphatic alcohols.

Compared to the branched Phthalates with the same molecular weight, Linear Phthalates benefit from

  • lower volatility
  • good low temperature flexibility
  • good weathering resistance.

They find application in:

  • PVC roofing
  • textile fabrics, anti-fogging synthetic leathers for car interiors
  • automotive cables and harnesses.

DIPLAST L 11

Description

(diundecyl phthalate , DUP ): its main features are low volatility , good efficiency, high temperature resistance and good cold flexibility . Due to its low viscosity, it is particularly suitable for the production of plastisol. It can be used in a wide range of applications: for the production of cables that have to withstand medium and high temperatures, with particular reference to the cables in the automotive sector (class B or T2 , according to standard ISO 6722), for the production of synthetic leather anti-fogging for car interiors.
