Polynt Composites EMEA introduces its latest product in the Gravicol Bonding Paste range: <\/span>Gravicol 3110 <\/span><\/b>High-Performance.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gravicol 3110 <\/b><\/span>is a fibre-reinforced, pre-accelerated bonding paste, <\/span>based upon Unsaturated Polyester Resin (UPR) modified Urethane Acrylate, which has been developed to answer many types of demanding applications to bond composite parts (thick or thin joints) in the marine or construction industry.<\/p>\n

Currently, three references have been commercialized:<\/p>\n

Gravicol 3110 TC<\/td>Catalyst Indicator, gel time: 20 min.*<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Gravicol 3110 IHB TC<\/td>Longer gel time, Catalyst Indicator, gel time: 60 min.*<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
Gravicol 3110 IHB2 TC<\/td>Longer gel time, Catalyst Indicator, gel time: 120 min.*<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/span><\/p>\n

*Gel time method\/conditions: 250g \u2013 23\u00b0C \u2013 1% PMEC<\/p>\n

These semi-flexible bonding pastes are ideal for dynamic bonding applications: demonstrating good compressive and flexural strength values when cured. The <\/span>Gravicol 3110 <\/span><\/b>range have a very <\/span>smooth consistency and are easy to apply with a spatula or comb applicator: no sagging occurs during thick bond applications. With this new High-Performance range, shrinkage is minimal and the parts remain stable after curing of the paste: <\/span>Gravicol 3110 <\/span><\/b>products cure at room temperature <\/span>(15 – 25 \u00b0C) using MEKP peroxide.<\/p>\n
