HSE & CERTIFICATIONS

In compliance with the provisions of Article 8 of Directive 94/62/CE and Commission Decision 97/129/CE (only for Italy: Italian Decree MASE n°360 del 28.09.2022) and in order to recycle and properly treat all packaging materials, we hereby inform you that our entity/ies for all products produced in Europe (meaning a country geographically considered European, including the United Kingdom) use all types of packaging included in the table below, which shows the characteristics of the materials and the related material type code used to comply with that purpose.

Polynt Group informs you that the packaging used to supply our products, in accordance with the current information in our possession, is made using new plastic and/or does not contain relevant percentages of recycled material.

The items covered by this statement and their respective weights are detailed in the table. For the avoidance of doubt, please note that all the information contained in this document has been prepared for explanatory purposes only and with the express understanding that it will be used solely for the purposes set forth. 

In particular, the weights shown in the table shall be considered as the best information we can provide regarding the amount of plastic used in the corresponding packaging, taking into account feasible tolerances due to operational and structural factors.

In line with the declarations received from our packaging suppliers, we confirm that all IBCs, big bags and plastic pallets used by the Polynt-Reichhold Group to deliver its products have been designed for reuse. All other plastic packaging components should not be considered reusable. 

It is the responsibility of customers and commercial partners to verify whether such reuse is possible for their applications, taking into account applicable laws and regulations, the products involved, HSE requirements, etc.

Representative unit weights for single packing

Polynt voluntarily participates in the European Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS), which certifies excellence in environmental management, transparency, and continuous improvement of environmental performance. Through environmental analysis, the definition of a policy and measurable objectives, the adoption of a management system, periodic audits, and the publication of an Environmental Declaration, Polynt ensures compliance with environmental regulations and the reduction of the impacts of its operations. Polynt operates in full compliance with the REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization of Chemicals) Regulation, which governs the registration, evaluation, and control of chemical substances manufactured or imported into the European Union. The company ensures the registration of substances in accordance with legal requirements, providing comprehensive information on their physical, chemical, toxicological, and environmental properties to protect human health and the environment.
