Rosario Valido - Chief Executive Officer
He was born in Riesi (Caltanissetta) on 19 November 1952, after a technical education, he began his professional career in the sales of companies that produce resins, serving in the same role as Sales Manager.
In 1982 he joined the Company where, since 2002, he serves as Chief Executive Officer.
Paolo Carugati - Chief Financial Officer
He was born in Milan on May 20th 1967 and graduated in Economics and Banking Sciences at the Catholic University of Milan.
He started as auditor by KPMG in Italy and Germany. Later he grew to relevant roles in multinational listed companies such as Pirelli Tyre (as Strategic Planning Manager) and Manuli Rubber Industries where he held the CFO position for 5 years (after growing from the position of Controller to Mergers and Acquisitions Manager and later Country Manager Poland). From May 2005 to June 2006 he held the position of Head of Planning and Control at Trenitalia.
In Polynt since June 2006, he is the Chief Financial Officer of the Group.
Alberto Carpani - Group General Counsel – Group Co-Director HR&IT
He was born in Brescia on January 13, 1975. Degree in Law (equivalent to American J.D.) from University of Milan – Bicocca, Milan, Italy on 1999. Admitted to the Italian Bar on March 2006.
He worked as attorney in primary international law firm, such as Simmons&Simmons, White&Case and Chiomenti. 2008/2009 he was International Visiting Attorney at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, New York, USA.
He joined the Group in October 2017 as Group General Counsel and in September 2020 he was appointed, in addition, as Group Co-Director HR&IT.
Sergio Conni - GROUP COO (Group Chief Operating Officier)
Born in Milan on 10th November 1962, he graduated in Chemical Engineering and in 1987 he began his professional career first in R&D specialist in Montedison, then from 1989 to 2001 in SISAS SpA, he covered various roles in the engineering department and in the Operations activities. In 2001 he joined Chemial SpA as General Manager. The acquisition of Chemial by Polynt in 2008, determines his entry into Polynt Group. Over the years he has held the positions of Foreign Companies Operation Manager (2009 to 2010), Group Sites Coordination Manager (2011 to 2012) and Head of the Specialties Division (2012 to 2014).
Since December 2014 he has been Senior Vice President and General Manager of the American Companies of the Group (USA, Canada and Brazil) at Carpentersville plant (Chicago, IL).
In September 2017 he returned to Italy as Executive Vice President Europe at the Scanzorosciate Polynt headquarters.
Since July 2020 he has held the position of Group Chief Operating Officer.
Alberto Milesi - EVP (Executive Vice President) Asia – GM Polynt Chemical Changzhou
He was born in Alzano Lombardo (Bergamo) on 11 April 1962. After a technical education, he started his professional career in the Company in 1982.Inside the company, he held various positions in Technical, Commercial and Supply Chain area.
In 2008 he moved to China as Commercial Director and finally GM of Polynt Chemical Changzhou.
Since 2015 he was also appointed as Chief Operating Officer of Polynt Composites Asia.
Maurizio Leonardi - EVP (Executive Vice President) Europe
He was born in Foligno (Perugia) on 5th October 1959, he graduated in Chemistry and began his professional career as researcher in 1984 at Università degli Studi di Perugia.
He move in 1985 at ENICHEM and in 1986 at Nestlè in charge as Process Research manager.
From 1988 he joined the Company as a Researcher in Composites. Inside the company, he held various positions until, in 2011, he began head of Composites business.
In December 2014, he was appointed as Chief Operating Officer Composites EMEA.
Since July 2020 he held the position of Executive Vice President of Europe at the headquarters of Scanzorosciate (BG).
Harold Visser - EVP (Executive Vice President) Americas
He was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan (USA) on August 30, 1961 and earned degrees from Albion College in both Economics & Management as well as English. His career has been in the Composites business since 1984, where he has served in various commercial and leadership roles. He joined CCP Composites in 2009, where he held a few different roles, most notably President of CCP Composites Canada and also Managing Director EMEA. With the acquisition of CCP by Polynt in 2014, he assisted with the European integration before moving back to the US in 2015, where he had been in Composites leadership functions prior to being appointed to his current position.
